Who am I?
My name is Thomas, and I work in the world of mobile games and applications. Currently employed at Betclic, I am part of the company’s innovation laboratory, where we focus on exploring new trends and fostering innovation.
What do I do?
I am a developer by training with over 6 years of experience at Triplefun as a Unity developer, specializing in mobile games. My responsibilities included handling UI integrations, animations, and various other aspects related to user experience. Due to our small team, I also had the opportunity to work on diverse areas such as game design, monetization, plugin development, production deployment, and more. However, my passion for UX led me to undergo Google UX training and broaden my skills to include design using Figma and prototype programming (now in Flutter). This versatility allows me to approach challenges holistically, combining both design perspective and technical understanding. Being involved from the early stages of the design process also enables me to prototype rapidly.
What is this site?
I’ve been working at Betclic’s laboratory for almost 4 years now. It has been an enriching yet occasionally frustrating experience because the work we do is oriented towards the future and will only become visible in the years to come. Therefore, I cannot share details about my current work. Nevertheless, I continue to learn every day and wish to share my knowledge and experiences while diligently respecting non-disclosure agreements (NDAs). Through articles, I will share my thoughts on design, development, and all the common aspects of these fields.
